True the owner is looking to save not spend money. Tyson chandler will be traded in the off season which they will have to go spend new money on a center leaving little to no room to add depth on the bench. I honestly can see them losing both paul and west when each of their contracts are up because the hornets simply cant afford to keep them. Its sad that team looked like it was going to be good for awhile too.
False, they were plagued with injuries this entire year and losing Jannero Pargo hurt visibly, I really see a small improvement with their bench this offseason giving them a boost actually, 3-4 seed in the West next year in my opinion.

I agree about the lack of depth on the bench, but I also think they can still be a playoff team without one. Just as another 7-8 seed, though.
