True or false, liberals that fear inanimate objects (guns) need to see a mental health expert?

Their paranoia here today is WAY over the top.True or false, liberals that fear inanimate objects (guns) need to see a mental health expert?
True. Fear of guns has long been linked to mental illness. You might find this article interesting.

FALSE!

Most ';mental health experts'; are typically-fraudulent left-wingers and thus have no higher goal than to perpetuate their own paychecks.

The cure and relief rate of those who undergo psychotherapy is actually lower than for people with the same conditions who do not.

The ';experts'; do more damage than good.

THAT said, yes, I think irrational fear of an inanimate object is probably a real sign of mental illness.
False.

I just do not understand why the NRA wants criminals and terrorists to be allowed to purchase guns.

Stop Handgun Violence, a non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of gun violence, today released on-the-record quotes from a National Rifle Association (NRA) spokesperson confirming that the NRA does not support uniform background checks for all gun purchases or the use of the government's anti-terror watch list in precluding gun sales.

The statements were made by NRA spokesperson Ashley Varner during a debate with Stop Handgun Violence Chairman, John Rosenthal, on WBZ-AM Radio's ';Paul Sullivan Show.';

Varner took the stance that the NRA is protecting ';law-abiding citizens'; in saying that they should not be burdened by background checks when purchasing guns privately including from people on the street or at thousands of gun shows annually. Currently 32 of the 50 states in the U.S. require no identification or background check when purchasing guns privately. Only licensed dealers are required to perform background checks and they only sell approximately 50% of guns each year in the U.S.

Therefore - if you are a criminal or a terrorist - just go to a gun show - the NRA will support your right to purchase ANY weapon without any identification or background check.

God Bless the NRA.
...well i'm a liberal... I own guns, and i'm not paranoid.

People who fear guns, probably grew up in a place where guns had no purpose. I grew up on a farm...therefore I hunt, and keep guns for protection.

That being said....i'm going with False, because what you really have here is a difference in opinion. I have the right to own guns though...regardless of the opinions of others.
Why don't you just start the War and stop bluffing so damn much! Let's fight and get it over with! You can miss me with all the tough talk! Liberal this Conservative that! Cowards stop hiding you racism and bias behind the BS and say what's really on your mind! Punks!

If I had guns I wouldn't say it on here because half of you guppies are Police affiliates!
I have to say false.

Not that I'm against guns, but fear of guns is a healthy thing. It means you don't want to do something to piss it off, or it's owner anyway. It also means that if you don't know how to handle safely, you shouldn't even pick it up.
People who fear guns often have no fear of driving their vehicle like a Dik head. Wanna talk numbers?

Take a Physics class, see who's the bigger bullet, in the more crowded place.

For me, respect yes, fear no ... for both
True that are right in line with religious groups who believe that mutant ninja turtle resting in the closet is responsible for bringing evil into the household.

But...

don't try to tell them a word of that.
guns don't kill, people kill. i wonder if obese people should be offended if others carry forks or spoons. after all, that is what makes us obese, not the food, right?
True, but it's because liberalism, in general, is a mental disorder.
False. Guns are exceedingly dangerous when carried by idiots.
They don't fear the gun - they fear the nut holding the gun.
They were told to bombard YA with anti-gun questions today. They don't know why. They just do as they're told.
I'm only scared when you point them. leave them alone in the woods or alone in a dark alley I'll kick that guns ***.
Just being a liberal makes them fall in that catagory
true,
true

why do Libs fear what they don't understand
A gun is not an inanimate object when you have an American overun by fear and paranoia from the media with his finger on the trigger.
Liberals (anyone) who fears another Columbine, etc. is perfectly sane.

there is no problem with (SOME) gun restrictions.
False.
