Last time I checked he won Coach of the Year with the only other team he has been the coach of, the Magic, so ';fired left and right'; is fired once, and he won coach of the year with the team that fired him.

False. Everyone knows its KG and assistant coach Tom Thibodeau defensive genius. His on the top of the list for a head coaching job and if he leaves it will be a huge blow to the Celtics.
Rivers was almost fired until KG was traded to Boston.
Rivers is a good coach, but KG and Tom Thibodeau are what make the Celtics a great team.
