Do you ever get religious freaks coming to this section and blathering on about evolution being false?

Or do they just stick to the religion section?

(I'm a secular humanist from Society and Culture by the way.)Do you ever get religious freaks coming to this section and blathering on about evolution being false?
Some religious types come here. Several varieties I've seen are:

1. The ranters. ';I dont care about the facts...'; etc

2. The rhetorics. ';What about before the big bang etc...'; etc

3. The intelligent designers. ';Look at all the holes in the fossil record or it's too complex to explain...'; etc

4. And people who really do question faith vs observed knowledge.

I'm an engineer by the way....Do you ever get religious freaks coming to this section and blathering on about evolution being false?
Wise duck has it pretty good.

We have inverse problems. The nut job Atheists who give cra**y answers to some kid who is asking a sincere question.

We dont get it the other way round that often in R and S. Nice visiting you guys. We are sorry that Christianity has generally decided that science and proof and all that is inconsequential. (I spent about 5 minutes looking for that word...my mental dictionary has been having blurps reccentlly.. its a pain)

From the bottom of my heart and mind I would like to apologize for them.

Great visiting you guys. ^_^
Yeah, they come in here very frequently trying to prove evolution is wrong. Ive seen them arguing about the Big Bang in astronomy once. They get a bunch of answers with sources and actual facts and then ignore them all.

What is sad is when they attack some poor kid who has a homework question over evolution.
Almost every day. Why are there still monkeys? is a question that we see occasionally.
I think the people who frequent this section would be mildly amused at the ignorance of religion.
