Why do top contributors have a false sense of superiority and act so arrogent?

NEWSFLASH: you are not better than any one else on this message board who does not have a TC badge i dont even vote you guys best answer because of some them on here are just dumb and act like they know everything when its not true get over it and move onWhy do top contributors have a false sense of superiority and act so arrogent?
It's not arrogance- it's simply because of our VAST superiority in every single facet of life. I thought this was common knowledge??

';Top Contributor'; is an automated signifier applied by a computer. You earn it by getting a certain number of points, or sometimes by contributing a lot of data (lots of long, meaningful answers). But many top contributors seem to get there by posting lots of short, crappy answers. I've seen them. I had a Top Contributor status when I went haywire on Dream Interpretation, then lost it, even though I've not lost any of my points.





Probably good to hover your mouse pointer over the Top Contributor to check their Best Answer rating. Of course, someone can know what they're talking about and still not get best answer. And one with a high Best Asnwer rating can simply be someone who knows how to spew socially-acceptable rhetoric that others know they should accept, and so they do accept it begrudgingly, while the more liberating answers are left unscored.

Yeah, I understand what you're talking about, though you're missing the big picture. Many T.Cs (including myself) wish they could turn off the badge, to avoid the prejudice and discrimination that comes with it (much like you're exhibiting here). In fact, it's been suggested to the Y!A staff on numerous occasions in the Suggestions Forum, however, there hasn't been a response to adding this feature.





To be honest, I actually hate when people give me best answer specifically for that reason. Anyway, it's not like we come here to get Best Answer, so there's no need to mention how you won't give us it lol

i didnt really notice cockyness but i do notice like they think they are more knowledgable than others. some of them can be as dumb as a rock for all i know.
I think maybe they have been on a long time or have no life.lol


As for acting so arrogant , is just because their use to something. In this case, Yahoo.
