My virus scanner is AVG and it detects this program as having a hidden exe and thus labels it as a virus. The link is from a reliable source though, and I've heard that because this logs the button presses on a joystick that some virus scanners will detect it as a virus when it really isn't.
I just want to make sure this isn't a virus before I continue to install this program, and I would appreciate your help, thanks.Does PPjoy really have a virus or is it a false alarm?
Since PP Joy also works as an encoder, the anti virus taking it to be a virus is quite justified.
However, it isn't per se a virus.
Cheers!

PPJoy is a Windows 2000/XP Device Driver for digital joysticks and gamepads connected to the parallel port. It seems to be a safe download on the above link.
