I dont think genes determine everything about you, because i think the environment and how you are brought up and you characteristics is everything about you? what do you think?Genes determine everything about you. i think that is false?
If what you mean by you your phenotype is your physical characteristics and behaviour than the bog standard textbook answer is genotype + environment = phenotype. Therefore, your genes determine what you could potentially be but your environment will be what ultimately shapes you.Genes determine everything about you. i think that is false?
Genes only determine the beginnings for physical characteristics like a blueprint, the environment can change things. Basically genes only code for proteins and how you are supposed to start out, but the environment you live in can alter it. This has been shown before in a couple of genetic tests in which the subject was supposed to have shown a particular trait but for some reason did not. There are also some women who are actually genetically male (have XY chromosomes instead of XX) but develope fully female. Genetics is very interesting but much has not been discovered yet.
Genes code for what proteins your body creates which deterimes your characteristics. This being said it does not fully deterime what you will be like.





Lets have an example





Two identical twins are born. They have the same DNA meaning they have the same genes. They are than split up after birth. One is giving all the nessarities needed for the body to function normally. The other one is given little food. One may grow to be 6 foot while the other could only grow to 5 foot 6. They both have the same genes but look differently.








Genes code for everything in your body. They are what make you you. But if you do not allow cells to grow normally by giving it to nessarity nutrients and such it will turn out differently.

Everything inside each and every living organism is determined by theirr GENES only, doesn't matter either its an single cellular or multicellular organism.





I think you have heared about the MENDILIAN experiment, in that he quickly showned that how GENES playes a vital roles to give a shape and size and internal structure of any organism. He showned this same thing in case of PEA.








If your removes all the genes from your each and every cell of your body, then you will be no more and your game will up..
