The story is authentic and occurs multiple times with varying narrations in Sahih al-Bukhari, and there is an important lesson to be learned from the story.





One of the multiple narrations reads in Sahih al-Bukhari:





Narrated Abu Huraira:





(The Prophet) Solomon son of (the Prophet) David said, ';Tonight I will go around (i.e. have sexual relations with) one hundred women (my wives) everyone of whom will deliver a male child who will fight in Allah's Cause.'; On that an Angel said to him, ';Say: 'If Allah will.' '; But Solomon did not say it and forgot to say it. Then he had sexual relations with them but none of them delivered any child except one who delivered a half person (deformed). The Prophet, (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said, ';If Solomon had said: 'If Allah will,' Allah would have fulfilled his (above) desire and that saying would have made him more hopeful.';

One of the lessons is the importance of saying ';Inshaa-Allaah'; (if Allaah wills...) when referring to acts one plans to carry out in the future, as it is only by Allaah's permission that we would be able to carry out what we intend.In my Islamic school they told us Solomon did a miracle of sleeping with100 slaves in one night! Yes it is true because I read it in the hadith that Solomon king and prophet did a miracle of sleeping with 100 slaves in one night So Solomon had a great lust and power.Solomon was the richest prophet and he was appointed also as the King.He was the son of David prophet and King. Solomon could hear and understand the voice of animals including birds and ants


He could talk with jinns and asked them for help to move the palace of Queen Balqis.
being patient...first of all, provide some references to that. How do you know your teacher is teaching islam perfectly. Everyone makes mistakes, or he/she could purposefully be lying. Don't believe anything unless there are credible sources to verify it, and even worse, dont go spreading rumors if your not sure about its truth value.
It's actually in the Qur'an and Sunnah. The Prophet Sulaiman slept with his concubines with the intention that Allah would give him many young males that would fight alongside him in the cause of Allah. He forgot to do it in the name of Allah though and as such they were born only half formed. He repented to his Lord and was forgiven for leaving out the name of Allah in doing his action. Allah knows best!
Sister, I'm pretty sure that is not true. I have never heard of it and it is also quite unlikely. Prophet Sulaiman did not do that and this may be one of those rumors that just get around. But next time your teacher tells you something you're not sure about. Immediatly research it and you will see if he is right or not. If the things her says are outrageous, I suggest you start gooing to a new school.

This is a disputed issue. Some people tried to derive this meaning from some tradition. However, many of the scholars rejected this story. I am not in postion to judge right now because I do not have direct source.
