False. Most of the staple crops in the human diet (wheat, rice etc) self-pollinate. Livestock are also mostly fed with crops from self pollinating plants.





However would life be worth living in a world without bees? Most of the fruits and vegetables would disappear. Not to mention honey. (Also most of the flowers from which we get our perfumes and fragrances.)

False, honeybees are not native to the Americas. The whole contenient with all its vegatables and fruits was here without them.
We have the knowledge and technology to survive, but it would be very tragic. That may have been a possibility hundreds of years ago, but not today.
