Who got a false when infact you were pregnant?

just wondering. Saw the question about how many test you took before you got a positive well i want to know what women got a false result but got a positive on the blood test? i hear people talking about how they know women who never got a positive but were pregnant i want to know who they are first hand?? thanks!!Who got a false when infact you were pregnant?
I had 6 neg. tests before I had a positive, I was 11 weeks when it was finally a positive, my blood test was neg. also when I would have been 8 weeks. It is possible just not terribly common. I had low hormones.Who got a false when infact you were pregnant?
I have a friend who knew she was pregnant (blood tests and ultrasounds confirmed it) but she didn't get a positive HPT until she was in her 7th month. By the time she got it it had become a running joke. A few of us bought her some for her baby shower (along with good gifts lol). So she took one there and it was negative. The next week she took another and it finally came up positive.





It's not common for this to happen. But it can occur occasionally. It's a lot more common to get false negatives when trying to find out around your period. People take them a week early (because the commercial says you can) but really they only detect 58% of pregnancies that early. Even within a few days/couple weeks of your late period your hCg levels could just be lower than a test can pick up. Another common mistake is taking it in the afternoon or at night. ALWAYS use your first pee of the day.
Never happened to me, but I do know some women that got false negatives.





False negatives can happen...it might be a faulty test.





However, false positives are very rare.

my first test was negative, but i think i peed on it too much. the next one was positive as well as the 6 others after that. (it took a while for it to really sink in...lol)
i got a negative on the day after my period was due... then a week later got 4 positives and positive blood test
never happened for me or anyone i know.always showed on the home test
